I am a Wife, Mom, Gigi, Hairdresser, Baker &  Now a Blogger.

​I am starting this blog as my way to share recipes, tips, tricks and much more.  Little did I know that my baking adventures would create a community of aspiring bakers and dessert lovers.

I have always loved baking. I baked as a child with my grandmother, then with my children, now my grandchildren.  

​

When I first started baking as a business, I was a fulltime hairdresser, and running a household. Everyday all I wanted to do was come home and bake.  It helped relieve stress. I love this about baking.  So now I want to share with you! 

 

​I have been developing recipes for my blog for a while and am passionate about highly accurate and repeatable recipes. I love to break down complicated recipes into detailed and manageable steps that everyone can achieve.

On Gigi's Flours you'll find  inspirations from my time just baking for fun and then for others. Each recipe has been put through a rigorous testing process to ensure you get dependable results and I have listed out as many tips & tricks as I can think of in each post to help you along the way.

Not Sure Where To Start?

A great place to start is my base recipes - these are a selection of foundation recipes that many of my other recipes build upon. Once you nail these you'll be able to hit the ground running on almost every recipe on this blog.

There's no specific sections here for beginner bakers or expert bakers but rather a focus on solid, dependable recipes that work whether you are baking them with your grandma or for a special occasion.
